Welcome to St. Thomas Aquinas's Got Talent! During April 2020, our school issued a call for talent to be shared. There's no competition, nothing to win... just a showcase of our talented Students and Staff! We are accepting submissions on a go-foward basis... share what you're doing and we'll post it here!
Brady used to be in guitar lessons .. but he got out of that. He received a Mandolin from his great-uncle and likes it better... it was easy for him to pick up as it’s the same cords ... it only took Brady 15 min to learn this song! It’s also Brady’s favourite song on jigs and reels
Ms. Hillier loves to sing... here is a parody she created based on Jolene by Dolly Parton.

Mrs. Bedo is a Girl Guide Guider!! Her favourite part of guiding is camping. Mrs. Bedo has taken
part in a number of District Camps, a Provincial Camp and an Interprovincial Camp. Her
favourite camp was last summer. She took 6 girls to Gros Morne to participate in a week long
camp. This was a back to basics camp with girls from all over Canada. What makes these
experiences even better, is that her daughter, Madison, participates with her.
Kay was very interested in playing Minecraft but never got a chance to play the actual game
before. He received the game on the PC for an Easter present and picked it up pretty quickly and
was able to translate his talent for building imaginative and interesting structures using Lego
into creating his own house on Minecraft. He feels that Minecraft is a really cool way to bring
ideas in his head to life and wanted to share it with his classmates and teachers who he misses
very much.
Landen’s been having fun drawing lots of pictures on his time off from school!
Mr. Ivany loves parodies. Here are a couple he put together over the past few weeks!
This one is dedicated to a former student and a family friend -- the meatball war continues!
Mrs. Dunphy has been busy! Here are some of her activities... the most recent are the masks she's been sewing and the plants she's using to test her 'green thumb' .

The Storm
The movement of waves crashing down Causing masses of power out A storm creates various sounds Murkiness whirls waters aboutCausing masses of power out Clusters of dreary come around Murkiness whirls waters about Some kind of brightness may be found
Clusters of dreary come around But there may be shine found throughout Some kind of brightness may be foundWith the storm’s thunderous shout
But there may be shine found throughout Don't pass light, though may not surroundWith the storm’s thunderous shout Little light in darkness profound
Don't pass light, though may not surround as dark clusters remove their frown Little light in darkness profound The movement of waves crashing down.
