Please note: Bussing and Transportation is governed by the NLESD. Individual Schools, Contractors, and Drivers have no control over bus stops or routes.

Kindergarten Students

Kindergarten students are not permitted to exit the bus at the end of the school day unless their parent or guardian is there to meet them at the door of the bus. For instance, a parent waiting in   their car across the street is not acceptable and increases the risk of a Kindergarten student getting released without their parent/guardian present in error. If the parent/guardian is not at the door of the bus to meet a Kindergarten student, the driver will continue on with their run.
Once the run is complete, the student will be returned to the school and the family will be contacted. Should this occur, parents are expected to make their own arrangements for pick-up at the school.
